Board Actions

The board of education on Dec. 14:

  • Reviewed updates from the calendar and pro studies committees;
  • Approved a master facilities plan for the district and zero-tax-rate-change bond issue to fund the plan;
  • Discussed and approved COVID-19 safety plans and procedure updates;
  • Approved paying $377,115.44 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of November 2021;
  • Approved paying $280,833.98 for purchases made on the district's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1% (or $2,808.34);
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
  • Lodged for action calendars for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years; a vote is expected Jan. 11;
  • Approved the instructional materials adoption for elementary social studies for $111,128.90;
  • Lodged for action revisions to Policy CDQF-R (Separation Incentive Plan or SIP); a vote is expected Jan. 11;
  • Voted not renew the district's membership to NSBA for 2022, but allow the option to rejoin in subsequent years;
  • Approved paying $3,800 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. for legal services;
  • Approved revisions to policies IF (Curriculum Development) and IF-R-1 (Curriculum Coordinating Council); 
  • Approved the purchase of a BusinessPlus upgrade from PowerSchool, Inc., for $22,680;
  • Approved the renewal of MySci resources for the 2022-2023 academic year for $100,553.75;
  • Awarded a bid for copy paper supplies to Office Essentials for $25,032;
  • Approved the purchase order for the baseball infield renovation to Pollack Landscaping, LLC, for $13,121.22;
  • Awarded a bid to purchase Pattonville’s surplus AppleTVs and iPads to Limitless USA Inc.; Limitless USA Inc., will pay $613,260 to purchase 4,290 surplus iPads and 223 surplus AppleTVs;
  • Awarded the bid for a new 5000# capacity forklift to Forklifts of St. Louis for $23,751.75;
  • Awarded the bid for two new walk-behind 26-inch auto scrubbers to New System for $17,060; and
  • Awarded the bid for two new John Deere Gators TX Model Year 2022 to Erb Equipment for $16,100.
