Board Actions

The board of education on June 8:

  • Reviewed and approved a budget for the 2021-2022 school year; read the budget or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $954,918.38 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of May 2021;
  • Approved paying $380,131.38 for purchases made on the district’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1% or $3,421.18;
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com website;
  • Declared a list of textbooks as surplus and authorized they be sold through a public bid process;
  • Approved early childhood tuition rates for the 2021-2022 school year;
  • Approved curriculum course change recommendations for the 2021-2022 school year;
  • Approved the instructional materials adoption for K-12 vocal music for $168,540;
  • Approved the instructional materials adoption for 6-12 social studies for $352,968;
  • Approved the recommended number of paraprofessionals for the 2021-20221 school year;
  • Lodged for action revisions to Pattonville's 2021-2022 student behavior guides; a vote is expected at the July 27 board meeting;
  • Approved paying $20,589.52 to EducationPlus for the balance of its 2021-2022 annual membership dues;
  • Approved paying $619 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt, P.C. for legal services;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on May 11, the 2020-2021 budget revisions;
  • Approved the renewal of the Mosyle MDM subscription from Mosyle Corporation for $47,680;
  • Approved the purchase of a 2022 Ford F450 truck, regular cab and chassis with lift gate, from Joe Machens Ford Lincoln for $65,532 (purchase through a state contract);
  • Approved the first year of a three-year subscription to Canvas LMS from Instructure for $34,200;
  • Approved the purchase of Ecollect subscription from PowerSchool for $12,619.36;
  • Approved the renewal of online enrollment services from PowerSchool for $21,802.52; this product is used by families to enroll in Pattonville schools;
  • Awarded the bid for printing and mailing newsprint to Arcade Printing for $90,000;
  • Awarded the bid for renovations to the Pattonville High School band room to Hankins Construction Company for $136,000;
  • Awarded a bid for flooring replacement at Pattonville Heights Middle School to Richardet Floor Company for $29,709;
  • Approved the purchase of 13 MacBook Air laptops for use in the Pattonville High School computer science capstone course to Apple, Inc., for $16,574;
  • Approved the purchase of 4,290 iPads for elementary and middle school students from Apple, Inc., for $2,235,255.50; and
  • Approved the purchase of the Panorama Social-Economic Learning and Check-Ins Platform licenses from Panorama Education for $30,110.
